Our House is Sold

I can finally say that our house is sold!  The closing will be on June 12th.   Although we can pre-sign the closing paperwork so Alex and I can go back to Dominica.  I will be talking to the title office, Rels, today to give them all the information they need to do the paperwork.

Keith arrived home this last Saturday around 7pm (he was supposed to arrive around 12:30, but he had two planes with mechanical issue so his flight was delayed).  On Sunday we took Alex to a children's play at the Stages Theatre called, The Paperbag Princess.  She really enjoyed it and it helped that we had borrowed the book from the library so she knew what was going on.  After the play she got to meet the dragon and even got the dragon's autograph.  Next Saturday Keith and Alex are going to go see Thomas the Train at the Target Center.  She will be so excited and loves Thomas!

Keith has had a lot of exams this week.  He had his Biochemistry shelf exam today and has his third mini tomorrow and then his Histology exam on thursday.   Friday morning he starts his travels back home.  He will have to spend the night in Miami on Friday night and then will fly to Dallas then onto Minneapolis the next day.  I will pick him up on Saturday around 12:30  after Sarah and I run our 10k.  

Speaking of 10k's, Sarah and I ran around Lake Harriet twice on Saturday.  I think we are ready and I am hoping that the weather is nice.

Alex had so much fun looking for Easter Eggs with all her little cousins.  She especially had fun looking through her older cousin, Abby's stuffed animals.  She had two rooms full of stuffed animals and there were a few Care Bears too.  Click below for the pics:

Today is Keith's last day of class.  He then will spend the next few weeks studying and taking his last mini exam and his shelf exams.  Wish him luck!  He comes home on April 25Th.  We can't wait!!!  Sarah and I are also running in the Get in Gear 10k.   Sarah and I ran it in 2002 and in 2003.  It's been a few years since we last did it, so we are running around the Minneapolis lakes to train.  

I have also started to list my house with a new Real Estate Agent.  I have been happy with her so far.  The listing started this past Thursday and I had three showings right away that weekend.  She also called me today with the feedback which I was happy about because my previous agent never let me know about any feedback.  She told me that one couple really liked it and it is at the top of their list so far.  The other two couples didn't like it.  One wanted a town home but was keeping an open mind with ranch style homes, and the other couple didn't like the fact that it was so close to the high school (they must not have kids).  I really hope it sells soon!
