Wine Tasting and Zoe and Jay's Birthday

Friday I took the day off of work and Alex and I met Sarah and Megan at Edinborough Park in Edina. Alex and Megan had a fun time climbing around. Later that night Sarah came down to Mankato and we went to a Wine Tasting event with Jim and Becky. We tasted lots of great wines. Sunday we celebrated Jay and Zoe's Birthday. During the day I brought the two girls to the Minnesota Zoo. I took Alex to an IMAX Movie. Her first movie.. It was only an hour long so I thought she would be able to handle it, but she was scared and then fell asleep. Zoe and I enjoyed it. It was a 3-D movie about the animals in the African Safari.

Alex had a busy day today. This morning we met Jim, Becky, and Beth at a Pancake Breakfast. Alex was a good eater and loved her blueberry pancakes. After her nap it was such a good day out that we decided to go to the park by our house. She loved sliding down the slides and riding on the tire swing. After an ice cream treat we decided to drive down to Sibley Park to see the animals. She played at the park there for a while and then fed the goats. We just got in from playing soccer in the backyard. I'm sure she will sleep well tonight.

Keith is done hanging the drywall. He is doing a few more things and then we will hire someone to mud and tape. Then we will paint ourselves. Hopefully that won't take too long.

Jecci is leaving on June 1st. She is not anxious to go home. She has been going out with friends a lot and is also going to the Prom.

Alex's trip to the Zoo's.

Alex had been busy seeing animals at the Zoo. On Sunday morning Alex and I went to the Minnesota Zoo again (we have a membership so we go there a lot!) and we saw the dolphins and shark tank and then went for a ride on the Monorail and then went home. Later that afternoon Alex and I met Becky and her friend, Beth at the Mankato Clinic playplace in the River Hills Mall. They had fun playing together as they always do.

On Thursday I had a dentist appointment in Apple Valley so Alex and I met Megan and Sarah at the Como Zoo and Conservatory. We had lots of fun looking at all the animals. Alex especially liked all of the big cats like the Mountain Lion and African Lion. Afterwards we all went to eat at Gabe's in Saint Paul and then went home. Alex slept the whole way home!
