Yesterday I went to Heaven's Best Restaurant for a surprise dinner for Kristen, a good friend on the island. It was the first time I've been to the restaurant. It was really good food! A little expensive but worth it! Kristen was very surprised! She really enjoyed the get together!! At the end the restaurant staff came out and sang happy birthday and gave her a gift.
This past Sunday evening we went over to Mike and Sindy's house for a potluck. One of the girls, Jennifer, went back to the states early, so we all said our "good-byes" to her.

I usually don't feel them because I'm not sitting still. But yesterday I felt it!!! It lasted a few second and it was loud! I was in our home and everything shook, the windows, the furniture, our whole house! It was amazing! I had never felt anything like that before. After doing some research online I discovered that what I felt was Volcanic earthquakes. Dominica has nine volcanos on it and the island itself was formed from volcanos.
