Alexandra had her second birthday party today. Her actually birthday is Dec. 20Th, but since it is so close to Christmas and this weekend worked out for everyone we decided to have it today. We had it in the community room at Snell Motors because our house isn't big enough for all the family and friends that came. Some of Alex's best friends, and cousins came-- Beth, Ashley, Hayley, Kaylee, Zoe, Abby, Conor, Brook, and more... We had paper table cloths on the tables so they could color and we had lots of food. Our exchange student, Jecci, made some spring rolls for an appetizer and it was so delicious. She spent so much time making it (hours!) I also made some red pepper queso meatballs, roasted bell pepper soup, an Orzo salad and we had ice cream cake for desert. Alex got lots of gifts. A lot of cute clothes that she can't wait to wear and some Dora and Thomas the Train toys. She loves Thomas so much and couldn't wait to get them out of the box when we got home.
Keith also got accepted to a medical school in the Netherland Antilles Islands for next fall of 2008. It's on the island of Sint Eustatius. He is also looking into other schools so we will keep you updated on where he decides to go.
