Making a Cake for Daddy

Alex was so excited for daddy to come back from Chicago! He spent seven weeks there at a Kaplan Live Retreat Course for the Step 1 USMLE exam. We did go and visit him in mid-may, but it's still been a few weeks until she saw him. Before he flew in Alex helped make a yummy chocolate bundt cake for him. Here she is decorating the cake! Looks yummy, Alex! Then we met him at the baggage claim area of the airport and as soon as she saw him she yelled out "DADDY" and ran to greet him! She's so excited to have him back.

The other day when she was in the bath she told me that she doesn't want daddy to leave again!
